Addressing the India–Oman Business Forum in Muscat, Goyal highlighted Oman’s strategic location as a gateway to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and Africa, which offers enhanced market access for Indian businesses.

He noted that the party’s structured membership process and the election of its national president through consensus and coordination are unparalleled.
Piyush Goyal said India–US trade negotiations are moving steadily, with multiple rounds completed. He stressed that any deal must benefit both sides and cannot be rushed with deadlines.
Congratulating the graduating batch of nearly 29,000 students, including online and on-campus learners, the Minister said the achievements of the students and awardees were the true focus of the ceremony.
