The pass percentage of girl students in CBSE is 94.25 per cent while 92.27 per cent boys have passed.
Bihar Education Minister Chandrashekher Yadav said that 83.70 per cent students have passed the examination, whose entire process was completed in only 39 days.
While the overall pass percentage this year is 73.18 percent, girls once again outshone boys with a pass percentage of 76.26 as against the boys’ 70.50 percent. What's more, out of a total of nine students who stood first, second and third place, eight are girls.
“Our government is humanitarian. So all the candidates who have enrolled for the Higher Secondary examinations have been awarded the passing marks considering the current Covid situation,” said Mahua Das, president of WBCHSE. According to the results announced by the council, a total of 3,19,327 students got more than 60 per cent marks, which is lower than the previous year's numbers.
Nearly 1.5 lakh candidates had appeared for the AP POLYCET examination 2019 and a pass percentage of 84.33 has been recorded.
