Chief Minister has ordered a judicial inquiry into the incident and assured strict action against anyone found guilty of negligence that may have led to the fire.
As the BJP Government in the State completed 500 days of coming to power, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Saturday approved 33 industrial projects worth Rs 1.46 lakh crore with the massive investment likely to generate 66,000 employment opportunities.
The Chief Minister has also urged all to move ahead in unity and maintain peace and order, to preserve the glory of Cuttack city.
The chief minister laid the foundation of 27 different industrial projects, including SUM Lifesciences, to be established across 12 districts in remote mode at a function organised at the Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) campus here.
Majhi said the State Government is keen on strengthening ties with European countries as ambassadors of Romania, Slovenia, and Malta, besides a delegate of Indian 2000-2001 batch Foreign Service (IFS) Officers called on him here today.
He further said: "We have kept the goal of 2-3-4, bringing 2 golds, 3 silvers and 4 bronzes for the country from the youth of Odisha at WSC, Shanghai."
In addition to marketing of Koraput coffee by Tribal Development Cooperative Corporation of Odisha Limited, the Coffee Development Trust at Koraput has taken up to 300 hectares of new and old coffee plantations.
In a letter to Patnaik, the minister said that the UG students have appeared for the sixth-semester examination through online mode in the first and second week of August.
