According to state excise minister Nitin Agarwal here on Friday, the revenue collected till January 2026 in FY 2025–26 is Rs 6,074.80 crore, higher than the Rs 37,900.35 crore collected during the same period (up to January 2025) in FY 2024–25, marking an increase of 16.03%.
The Minister stated that the target for the state till December 2025 was set at Rs 43,400.00 crore but 91.46 per cent of the revenue target for the financial year 2025-26 has been achieved.
The minister made it clear during a review meeting of the department that the monthly revenue target must be achieved 100%.
