NCP (SP) MLA Rohit Pawar alleged on Saturday that big businessmen and politicians are conspiring to delay as well as “control” the investigation into the January 28 air crash in which his late uncle and former Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar was killed in Baramati, Pune.
Ajit Pawar, Sharad Pawar NCP leader Dr Amol Kolhe, and other office bearers of both the parties were present as they released the joint manifesto that promises free metro railway and bus travel in Pune.
Leaders of all Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) opposition parties, including the Congress, the Sharad Pawar-led NCP, and the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena, besides the Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) demanded on Wednesday that elections to the local civic and municipal bodies in Maharashtra be postponed until discrepancies in voters' lists are resolved.
