Mr Modi was addressing a large public meeting in Salem, Tamil Nadu. He greeted 11 'Shakti Ammas' who came to the dais to welcome him at the public rally.

This will be after nearly six months that Modi will be travelling to a foreign nation since the outbreak of Coronavirus in March last year.

Modi is also scheduled to address the gathering at the foundation laying event of the university named after the prominent Jat personality who was also nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 1932.
