CPM state secretary MV Govindan has on Sunday announced the candidates for the assembly elections as Kerala goes to polling booths on April 9.
Earlier in the day, Sasi inaugurated the CPM rebel convention at Chandranagar in Palakkad when he unleashed scathing attacks on the party leadership, including district secretary EN Suresh Babu.
Sharshad alleged that Govindan’s son leaked a confidential complaint he had submitted to the CPI-M Polit Bureau, exposing alleged illegal financial dealings of certain party leaders.
Declining to respond to the media’s questions related to the allegations, he said “Absurd questions do not merit answers.”
CPM Kerala Secretary MV Govindan on Wednesday categorically stated that his party has never formed any political alliance with the RSS at any point in time.
Kerala CPI-M secretary M V Govindan said on Wednesday that the new governor should work in harmony with the state government in accordance with the Constitution.
Speaking to media persons here on Thursday ,after the CPI-M state committee meeting ,, MV Govindan said the party misread the public sentiment and pulse of the people that worked against the party and the LDF in the polls.
Addressing a press conference here, MV Govindan asked whether the agency had any credibility. He said the ED is one of the prominent agencies in the country, which the Supreme Court had said has lost its credibility. He said the the case will be dealt with in an appropriate way.
In his notice, MV Govindan said Swapna's statement through the media has defamed his reputation. He asked her to withdraw the accusations and apologise through prominent newspapers.
