Uttar Pradesh is set to enter the global sports arena in next two months when it will get the opportunity to organise the first ever MotoGP in the country and host Davis Cup match after 23 years.
Scheduled as the 13th race on the calendar, India will see 42 teams and 84 riders in action across MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 categories.
The MotoGP field will also gain Stefan Bradl this weekend who will wild card with the HRC Test Team on a fifth Honda RC213V.

The Azlan Shah Cup, which was scheduled to be held in Ipoh, Malaysia from April 11 to 18, will now be held from September 24 to October 3.
Marquez, who secured his sixth premier category title last month, finished over a second clear of pole-sitter Quartararo who came second for the fifth time in his debut campaign.
Quartararo set a new official record of 1:58.576 on Friday and took pole from his fellow Yamaha rider Maverick Vinales on Saturday.
