Congress leaders said Sonia Gandhi visited Medanta Hospital in Gurugram for routine medical tests, weeks after her earlier treatment for infection-related complications in Delhi.
Cabinet Minister Suresh Khanna was also present with CM Adityanath during the visit.
The injury occurred after he slipped in the bathroom at his residence in Jamshedpur.
“We have been made aware of a complaint from a patient and have been fully cooperating with the investigation conducted by the relevant authorities,” the hospital said in a statement.
Dr Guleria was to superannuate from AIIMS in April 2024 but he took voluntary retirement on November 13.
The former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister has been under treatment since August 22 for his regular medical checkups and examinations. Last week suddenly his health deteriorated after which he was shifted to ICU at Medanta Hospital.
Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Mulayam Singh Yadav's health condition is still critical, said doctors on Tuesday.
The 82-year-old SP leader was admitted for several days but on Sunday he has been shifted to the ICU after his condition deteriorated.
Medanta Hospital Director Rakesh Kapoor said the SP leader is currently on oxygen support. He is suffering from a mild lung infection for which he is taking medicines. His platelet count had reduced to nearly 70,000 but the situation is completely under control now.
