Meanwhile, an official of the DFS said the blaze was doused at 9.10 am. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
Officials said the information was received that a fire had broken out in an air conditioner on the roof of the factory.
The Kirti Nagar police station registered a case under section 306 of the Indian Penal Code (abetment to suicide) after the businessman’s widow discovered a letter written by him on 14 August in the pocket of a shirt in his cupboard.
