The 25 companies include five companies of Central Reserved Police Forces (CRPF), 15 companies of Border Security Force (BSF) and five companies of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), added officials.
The ITBP platoons were deployed at Badrinath and Kedarnath shrines on Sunday as the Centre agreed to the Pushkar Singh Dhami government's demand that better security arrangents were needed in the area during winters.
The gang used to issue fake appointment letters, conduct bogus training programs and provide fabricated government department identity cards to job seekers.
With the commencement of the yatra, the state police have also mobilised steps to extend all assistance to the pilgrims and help them reach the holy sites.
Shah said: "No one can occupy even an inch of India's land as he knows that the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel are guarding the frontiers."
The Force is hosting the national flags at its Border Out Posts located at high altitudes at the 3,488 km India China borders and promoting the campaign among the border population as well. The Force also released a special song.
The Army Commander also interacted with the participants of the Kargil Vijay Diwas Motorcycle expedition at Nilgrar (Sonamarg).
Last week, the ITBP mountaineers practiced yoga at an altitude of 22,850 feet in the Uttarakhand Himalayas amid the snow conditions. The ITBP mountaineers were on the summit of Mount Abi Gamin last week where they did a high-altitude yoga session at a place in the snow-capped terrain en route.
"Himveers of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) participate in a Yoga session at 15,000 feet in snow conditions in Uttarakhand Himalayas under the aegis of the forthcoming International Day of Yoga 2022"
According to the ITBP officials, the team is equipped with the mountaineering equipment, communication system and has been working in close coordination with National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Indian Air Force and Army personnel.
