Reliance Industries retained the title of the most-valued firm followed by HDFC Bank, TCS, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India, Infosys, Bajaj Finance, Hindustan Unilever, and ITC.
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) took the biggest hit, in line with bearish trends in equities.
Among the gainers were Reliance Industries, TCS, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Infosys, and State Bank of India (SBI).
Notably in October, the foreign investors had pulled out Rs 94,017 crore.
The valuation of Reliance Industries declined Rs 1,88,479.36 crore to Rs 18,76,718.24 crore while the HDFC Bank's market valuation slumped by Rs 72,919.58 crore to Rs 12,64,267.35 crore.
Data with depositors showed that the Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) withdrew a net amount of Rs 13,431 crore from equities so far this month (August 1-9).
