He was addressing the day-long National Governance Conference on “Holistic Development of Districts: Transforming Governance for Viksit Bharat”, organised by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Government of India, in collaboration with the Government of Jammu and Kashmir.

Punjab govt releases ₹13.05 crore under Ashirwad Scheme to support 2,559 families

On the outreach of the scheme, the Minister said that applications were received through the Ashirwad portal from 12 districts, including Faridkot, Ferozepur, Sri Fatehgarh Sahib, Fazilka, Gurdaspur, Jalandhar, Kapurthala, Ludhiana, Patiala, SBS Nagar, Sangrur and Tarn Taran. “An amount of ₹13.05 crore has been sanctioned to cover all eligible beneficiaries from these districts.”
