Himachal Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party President Dr. Rajeev Bindal launched a scathing attack on the Congress government, stating that under the leadership of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, the state has been pushed into a situation from which recovery appears extremely difficult.
Providing more information about the carnival, Shimla Mayor Surinder Chauhan stated that the intention behind this initiative is to "attract more and more tourists" to the state.
The party stated that the state is heading toward a severe economic crisis, with government debt now exceeding Rs 1 lakh crore.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu made this announcement in the State Legislative Assembly, which was held at Dharamshala on Thursday.
He directed the department to prepare an action plan for their optimum utilization in the larger public interest, adding that wastage of public funds merely on construction was unacceptable.
Transparency and timely payments to farmers have also been ensured, he added.
A comprehensive and multi-level campaign will be organized over the next three months to root out the drug problem from the state.
The Chief Minister urged the Union Minister to enhance the annual allocation for the State under the National Health Mission (NHM) by Rs. 200 crore in the next financial year.
The initiative aims to align technical education with modern industry needs and create skilled professionals for the future.
