He stated that Uttar Pradesh has emerged as a potential hub and is among the top three economies in the country, on track to achieve a $1 trillion economy within the next couple of years.
During a high-level review meeting held at the Irrigation Department headquarters in Udayganj on Tuesday, Singh said that if any negligence is found in the work, strict action will be taken against the concerned officers and employees.
In a post on X following the tabling of the Economic Survey 2025–26, PM Modi noted that the document underscores strong macroeconomic fundamentals, sustained growth momentum, and the expanding contributions of innovation, entrepreneurship, and infrastructure in nation-building.
The Union Minister assured that all necessary clauses and provisions have been included in the VB-G RAM G Act, 2025, in a legitimate manner.
The flagship event is being held at the PG College Ground in Ambikapur, Surguja district, where Union Minister Chouhan will formally inaugurate a series of welfare initiatives.
He emphasised that the annual financial assistance of Rs 6,000 is strengthening the rural economy.
There has been a close to six-fold increase in the budget allocation for the Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare from Rs 21,933.50 crore during 2013-14 to Rs 122,528.77 crore in 2024-25, the Lok Sabha was informed on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister outlined the vision of the government with small farmers in the centre.
To provide adequate credit to our farmers, the Finance Minister enhanced the agricultural credit target to Rs 16.5 lakh crore in FY22.
