According to the proposed plan, 228 tube wells will collectively augment 22.8 MGD of raw water, which will be channelled to the Okhla, Wazirabad, Nangloi, and the new Dwarka water treatment plants (WTPs).
As part of the partnership, DJB and ARF will design AI-based and data-driven solutions to address key urban challenges such as non-revenue water reduction, predictive maintenance of infrastructure, and real-time monitoring of water and sewage treatment plants.
Notably, this marks the largest constituency-level fund release in DJB’s history, ensuring that every part of the national capital benefits from renewed investment in essential water and sanitation systems, officials said.
With KPMG’s appointment, every ongoing and future project under DJB will now be tracked using data-driven evaluation, independent audits, and real-time reporting mechanisms.
