On their 59th wedding anniversary on Saturday, veteran actress Saira Banu took a nostalgic trip down memory lane, sharing intimate moments from her wedding night with late legendary actor Dilip Kumar.
Saira Banu and Dilip Kumar married in 1966, when she was 22 and he was 44. The couple shared a life filled with love and respect, though they did not have children.
It is said of Dilip Kumar, who passed away in the early hours of Wednesday, that he was at the vanguard of character acting and his Hollywood counterpart would be Marlon Brando. Bollywood soared new heights with Dilip Kumar.
