Noting that India and Israel are moving forward to sign a Free Trade Agreement (FTA), Azar stated that the ties between the two countries will also be advanced in other sectors like transportation, water, agriculture and academic cooperation.
The document was signed after wide-ranging talks between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, during which they discussed various key issues, including bilateral matters and regional developments.
"Both sides underscored the importance of closer cooperation to address challenges in the global security environment, with the aim of advancing peace and stability," the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said.
