India logs 110 new Covid-19 cases

The total recovery stood at 4,44,87,992. The active cases in the country stands at 2,041.
With the detection of the new cases, total Covid caseload rose to 4,50,20,942. It also included the JN.1 Covid variant cases.
Of the new cases, 201 cases were reported from Karnataka, 98 from Maharashtra and 85 from Kerala.
Delhi Home Minister Kailash Gahlot met the family of Covid warrior Dr Perpetua Minz Tigga and handed over a cheque of Rs one crore as financial assistance.
As per the data shared by the ministry, India’s recovery rate stands at 98.74% with 3079 patients having recovered in the last 24 hours taking the cumulative tally of recovered patients to 4,25,57,495.
India accounts for the second-highest caseload at 43,094,938.
With this, India’s active caseload now stands at 19,688 with active cases now constituting 0.05% of the country's total positive cases.
