On the eve of International Yoga Day, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal accused the Central government of shutting down Yoga classes where 17,000 people used to practice Yoga.
These colleges do not follow the UGC guidelines and the circular on reservation issued by the Ministry of Education, the forum has said.
“The idea is to inculcate a habit of learning and education and to provide them an opportunity to utilize their time in prison in a productive manner,” says Jails Minister Harjot Singh Bains.
The candidates have been finally selected in the 66th Combined Competitive Examination, 2021 organised by the Bihar Public Service Commission, in which Sadanand Kumar (Rank 8), Mayank Prakash (Rank 14), Mithilesh Kumar (Rank 24), Mohd Masroor Akhtar (Rank 25), Vinay Kumar (Rank 59) have been secured in the top 60.
KYS activists and students blocked the road in front of SOL in protest, and burnt an effigy of SOL Principal, US Pandey. Due to the intense pressure of the protest, the SOL administration was also forced to verbally announce commencement of classes from March 6.
Colleges and departments will be holding orientation programmes for the fresher’s. The orientation programmes and classes will be conducted in online mode.
Forest Ranger Anil Bhatt said, “The leopard is still inside the campus. On Monday morning we heard some sound from one portion of the building. We are fixing additional cages, with prey, and will continue to monitoring the activities till we are sure that the leopard has left the campus.”
While learning in groups yields several benefits for students like engagement, motivation, contribution to creativity, a better understanding of the topic at hand etc, it is also highly beneficial from a tutor’s point of view as well.
