CBI traces source of arms procurement

The Trinamul Congress has lodged a complaint against the CBI with the Election Commission of India (ECI).
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai during a Cabinet meeting on January 3 this year had decided to refer the matter to the CBI for a comprehensive inquiry.

After negotiations, the accused agreed to accept Rs 20,000, the Central probe agency said.
The development comes a day after the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leveled allegations against the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) that it collided with two toll tax companies and caused a huge loss to the public exchequer.

The CBI teams have reportedly seized some documents, including bank details, from the raided people. The searches have come less than a month after the LG cancelled further selection process following a report by a three-member committee headed by additional chief secretary-home RK Goyal.
The official said that they have found incriminating documents during the raids which are currently going on.
