The meeting, attended by Congress Bihar in-charge Krishna Allavaru and state party chief Rajesh Ram, addressed the reasons behind the party’s poor performance in the state.
His comments came in the aftermath of his daughter Rohini Acharya’s allegation that the blame for the RJD’s drubbing in the recently concluded Bihar polls is being pinned on her.
Basically, the Rs 10,000 strategy complemented Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s reputation for women-centric policymaking, scripting the historic outcome in a state where the BJP had previously played runner-up.
The saffron party sees the Bihar results as a morale booster ahead of next month's local body elections in Kerala and the Assembly elections to be held in April/ May next year.
A mock poll will be conducted at 5 am on Thursday in the presence of booth-level agents, and voting will begin at 7 am. Voting will continue till 6 pm, except at a few sensitive booths where polling will stop at 5 pm.
Addressing massive rallies in Valmiki Nagar and Chanpatia Assembly constituencies of Bihar, she also accused the NDA of “stealing votes” in order to gain power in the state.
She held multiple road shows and public meetings across Arwal, Gaya City, and Aurangabad assembly constituencies in Bihar.
On Tuesday, while addressing an election rally in Kutumba, Bihar, Rahul Gandhi made a controversial statement regarding the army.
Dismissing the charges made by Rahul Gandhi as baseless, Chaudhary said, "Voting has not yet begun, but Rahul Gandhi has realised his position in Bihar. That is the reason why he has already begun creating an atmosphere."
