The National Health Authority has crossed a major milestone of generating more than one crore tokens for outpatient department registrations using Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) based scan and share service.
According to the data released by the National Health Authority under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Uttar Pradesh leads the nation by generating as many as 4,77,19,482 Ayushman Bharat health accounts.

With this, eight lakh new families are expected to be included in the scheme. The beneficiary family will have to pay an annual premium of Rs 1,500 only.
Sarma also promised to increase wages of tea garden workers soon.
The Scheme provides free of cost insurance cover to all the residents of the UT of J&K.
Kamal Narayan, CEO of IHW Council, also said that the scheme lifted crores of people out of poverty caused by the burden of medical expenses, brought them under the safety net of health insurance and freed them from the crowded public hospitals.
Addressing the virtual meeting of Deputy Commissioners, SDMs and BDOs, Thakur said effective data-base of beneficiaries of various central and state schemes must be compiled and made available at a click of a button.
He said that the families whose cards have expired on 15 June, 2020 can also renew their cards till 30 June. Those families whose cards validity is going to get over after 15 June 2020 can also renew their cards during this period.
