The report revealed that the total value of ATM and CRM transactions in May 2025 stood at ₹2.45 lakh crore, a decline from ₹2.63 lakh crore recorded in March 2025.

The gang was active in ATM theft in Maharashtra, Assam and Gujarat. About 11 incidents of highway robberies in Noida, Ghaziabad, Rewari, Gurugram and Nuh were also unearthed with their arrest.
The arrested fraudsters used to change the ATM of innocent and unassuming bank account holders during cash withdrawal to dupe them of their hard-earned money.
During questioning, it was discovered that the accused worked as a confectioner and came to Delhi for work.
The member mayor in council, Debashish Kumar said "Many organizations install such water machines in the city without taking any permission from the KMC."
