The review covered a wide spectrum of projects being executed by the Health and Medical Education Department, including works related to Government Medical Colleges, SKIMS, Dental Colleges, Health Services, SASCI projects, and flagship centrally sponsored schemes such as PM-ABHIM and ECRP-II.
The meeting was attended by the Secretary, Health & Medical Education Department; Director, SKIMS; principals of Government Medical Colleges; Director, Coordination; and other senior officers of the department.
Speaking at a high-level workshop on the Incident Response System (IRS), the chief secretary said “Disasters often come without warning and in every such instance, citizens are the first responders. "
