Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo on Wednesday directed the administration to identify all government-owned land parcels within their jurisdictions for setting up development projects in Jammu and Kashmir.
Dulloo was addressing a high level Distribution Reforms Committee (DRC) meeting called to seek assessment of the progress on completion of these mega projects implemented in different areas of the UT.
Dulloo chaired a meeting of the Forest, Ecology & Environment Department to assess its functioning and also reviewed the progress in the ongoing conservation measures for the protection of lakes and wetlands in the Union Territory.

During the meeting, the Chief Secretary took note of the availability of minor minerals for infrastructure projects in the Union Territory (UT). He also directed to ensure the availability of construction materials to the public at government-approved rates.
A statement said that the program aims to raise awareness about the Holistic Agriculture Development Plan (HADP) in the region.
