"BJP is not in alliance with AIADMK. We will decide about the alliance during the elections only," said Jayakumar.
When asked about his stance on seat sharing as the AAP wanted to contest the Haryana polls alone, he clarified that the alliance is for the 2024 elections.
Speaking at the BJP’s ‘Jan Ashirwad Yatra’ in Madhya Pradesh, the Union minister said while Rahul Gandhi tarnishes the image of India abroad, the Opposition leaders defame the Sanatan Dharma and Hindu religion in the country.
Emanuel emphasized the strength of the alliance, saying that the strategic visions of the two countries have never been so aligned.
AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, SBSP president Om Prakash Rajbhar, and Bhim Army chief Chandra Shekhar met Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohia) chief Shivpal Yadav, late on Wednesday night, to formalize an alliance for the UP Assembly election.
State BJP president Swatantra Dev Singh said that the three parties would contest the elections together. However, he did not mention about the seat sharing arrangement among the three.
Arun Singh will hear out party leaders and workers in Mysuru, Mandya, Hassan and Chamarajanagar districts to strengthen the party. The BJP has failed all these years to make inroads in the Vokkaliga dominated region. The JD(S) and Congress had got the lion's share of seats in elections.
"Common people could not cast their votes in the state in the last panchayat elections. TMC cadres captured booths and used the state police in their favour in all the districts. If fresh Assembly elections are held, it is a fact that the TMC government will fall," Mr Chowdhury said.
The ministry said Turkey's previously "known" opinions on acquiring the Russian S-400 missile defence system had been shared in a detailed manner, without offering further information.
