The Monsoon Session opened with sharp political exchanges as the Samajwadi Party intensified its attack over alleged NEET irregularities and demanded stronger safeguards for competitive exams.
Samajwadi Party National President and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, addressing students and parents of the Mohammad Ali Jauhar University in Rampur, said, "We are all fully with the youth and their parents in their campaign to save Jauhar University."

Posting on his social media account on Saturday, Mr. Yadav said there should be no debate or dispute over the Constitution.
Speaking to reporters in Gosaiganj, Lucknow, on Friday, Akhilesh Yadav said that the public will decisively defeat the BJP in the upcoming elections. He claimed that people have now fully made up their minds to “defeat the BJP and give the country a new direction.”
"This issue is linked to the Prime Minister's parliamentary constituency, where 38 cases have been filed so far. It is the moral duty of the local MP to ensure action against the culprits", Yadav said in a statement.
Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav has stated that the SIR has become a source of trouble for the people.
Yadav said that the BJP is running a new campaign called "One District, One Mafia," in which Jaunpur district has become a mafia stronghold. He even called the BJP a "mafia-loving party."
