Indian women cricket all-rounder Rumeli Dhar is set to make her comeback in the international cricket after a six-year hiatus. Dhar will replace star pacer Jhulan Goswami for the remaining three T20Is against South Africa.

Goswami has been ruled out of the five-match T20 International series between India and South Africa due to a heel injury.

Goswami is the first female cricketer to take 200 ODI wickets. Goswami achieved this feat in the recently concluded three-match ODI series against South Africa.

Earlier, the International Cricket Council (ICC) had declared her Women Cricketer of the Year in 2007 after she became the highest wicket-taker by surpassing Australian Cathryn Fitzpatrick’s record.

In the on-going five-match T20I, India have taken the lead of 2-0.
