Messi scores on return from injury for Inter Miami
Lionel Messi scored on his return from injury as Inter Miami were held to a 2-2 home draw with Colorado in their Major League Soccer (MLS) clash.
Antoine Griezmann has gone on record multiple times in less than a month stating how excited and eager he is to play alongside Lionel Messi.
Griezmann now has reportedly said that he is very proud of winning the Argentine superstar’s praise. He also stated that he is “desperate” to play in the same team as the Barcelona forward.
French International player Griezmann joined Barcelona from Atletico Madrid in the ongoing transfer window. However, he is yet to play alongside Messi who has skipped Barcelona’s campaign in Asia since he was involved in Copa America.

The 32-year-old Lionel Messi was also in praise of his new teammate. He described him as “one of the best” in the world in 2018.
At that time Griezmann was being linked to Barcelona but there was no concrete deal. Now, when he is finally in Barcelona, he cannot wait to make up for the lost time.
“His words made me feel very happy,” Griezmann told Sport. “He’s the best. When he talks, the whole world listens. He knows this.
“That he would say that about me made me feel very proud. I insist that I’m desperate to finally play alongside him.
“I want to meet him, get to know him, watch him in training, play alongside him, provide assists. I’ve thought about it when I’m in bed, at training, and watching videos.
“You make the ‘film’ in your head and I know it’ll go well. It’ll be really nice,” he said.
