In the 11th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) between Ajinkya Rahane-led Rajasthan Royals and Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore, RR batsman batted well to take the score to 217 in 20 overs at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, on Sunday.

After winning the toss, RCB skipper Virat Kohli invited Ajinkya Rahane’s side to bat first and soon their plan back-fired as RR’s openers Rahane (36) and Darcy Short (11) gave Royals’ a good start.

However, Chris Woakes gave RCB break by sending Rahane back to the stands. And soon Yuzvendra Chahal removed Darcy from the crease.

Spin Wizard Chahal broke Samson-Stokes partnership by sending English batter Ben Stokes to the pavilion. After Stokes departed, Jos Buttler joined Samson at the crease and added 73 runs for the fourth wicket.

Meanwhile, Rahul Tripathi gave RR a flying finish by scoring 14 runs just in five balls with the strike rate of 280.
