After completing a mega-bucks deal to Manchester United, Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku was in high spirits as he declared his delight at becoming a part of “the best football club in the world”.
Lukaku uploaded an image of himself on his Instagram profile looking up to the sky with the caption: “I want to thank God for this opportunity! Blessed and delighted to be part of the best football club in the world! @manchesterunited”.
The 24-year-old officially became a United player on Monday, signing a five-year contract with an option to extend for a year, with the transfer said to have costed the Red Devils a hefty £75 million.

United have landed in LA as a part of their pre-season tour of the USA and Lukaku linked up with his teammates for their first training session on American soil after competing the formalities of his transfer.
The Red Devils face the likes of Manchester City, Real Madrid and Barcelona, among others, in their pre-season tour and millions of fans will be excited to see what the club’s marquee signing of the summer can do against some of the top sides in the world.
