The teaser dropped on June 12, eight days before it was supposed to. By the same afternoon, Salman Khan's lawyers were in Delhi High Court seeking an urgent stay. The director has since said he will not stop.

Despite the difficulties, Shamita doesn’t dismiss the experience entirely. She admits the show gave her a lot professionally. “It helped me in terms of work and visibility,” she acknowledged.

This confirmation has put an end to the suspense around the release date. Originally, the makers had planned to release the film on August 1. But at the last minute, they postponed it.
