This confirmation has put an end to the suspense around the release date. Originally, the makers had planned to release the film on August 1. But at the last minute, they postponed it, leaving fans curious.
At the time, JDS Film Factory, the production house, explained the delay as “unavoidable circumstances” and promised to share a new date soon.
Now, the wait is over.
‘Blackmail’ is led by GV Prakash, who plays the central role, and actress Teju Ashwini. The cast also includes Srikanth, Bindhu Madhavi, Linga, Thilak Ramesh, and Muthukumar.
The film is a production of A Deivakani and presentation of Jayakodi Amalraj under the JDS Film Factory banner. Director Mu Muran, who previously impressed audiences with ‘Iravukku Aayiram Kangal’, is likely to deliver another edge-of-the-seat thriller.
The first-look poster of ‘Blackmail’ gave fans a taste of what’s to come. In it, G V Prakash stands next to a motorbike with a number plate that reads “Money”.
