The state-of-the-art 'Rahat Gurukulam' inaugurated by the state government is touted to strengthen disaster preparedness.
The UP Government has set up a 3 member panel to probe into the incident in Lucknow, where 2 women died and 15 others sustained injury, when their residential building collapsed on Tuesday.
An aged woman and her daughter-in- law succumbed to their injuries at the hospital, where they were undergoing treatment in the Hazratganj area in the State capital.
According to information, SP leader Abbas Haider’s mother Begum Haider (72 years) and wife Uzma Haider died in the incident.

Uzma died on Wednesday morning 17 hours after the NDRF rescued her from the debris. But she died on the way to the hospital.
Begum Haider was brought to the civil hospital on Tuesday evening, where she succumbed to her injuries on Wednesday morning.
“We have rescued 16 people, who were admitted to the hospital, ” said the Director General of Police DS Chauhan.
The DGP said that 12 teams of NDRF and SDRF were engaged in the rescue task apart from police and fire brigade which ended in the afternoon.
He said, “The cause of the incident could be ascertained only after investigation and reports of the incident due to the earthquake is just a speculation. But we have found that the quality of building construction was very poor.”
Meanwhile, UP CM Yogi Adityanath has set up a 3 member panel to probe the incident, where around 15 people have sustained injury.
Commissioner of Lucknow, Roshan Jacob, Joint Commissioner of Police, Lucknow Piyush Mordia and Chief Engineer (PWD) in Lucknow have been named in the committee.
The panel has been asked to identify the people responsible for this accident and submit its report within a week.
On the other hand, the authorities have served notice to the builder and the contractor of the ill-fated Alaya on the Wazir Hasan Road.
