10 die as SUV falls into gorge on Jammu-Srinagar Highway
The ill-fated vehicle was on its way to Srinagar when the accident took place near Battery Chashma in Ramban district at about 1.15 am, police said.
Two soldiers were injured on Monday when militants attacked an army patrol on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, a police officer said.
The militants fired at the patrol team in Qazigund area which has been cordoned off for searches, the officer said.
