‘Congress and the INDI Alliance conspiring to re-divide India,’ says Yogi
The UP chief minister said these parties (constituents of the INDIA bloc) aim to grant minorities the freedom to consume “food of their choice”.
After campaigning in Uttar Pradesh, NDA presidential candidate Ram Nath Kovind reached Uttarakhand on Monday. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Rawat and other BJP leaders welcomed Kovind and Union Minister Thawar Chand Gehlot at the Jolly Grant airport in Dehradun.
Ram Nath Kovind interacted with BJP MPs and MLAs and sought their support. Kovind filed his nomination as NDA’s presidential candidate on 17 June and started his campaign by touring his home state Uttar Pradesh on Sunday.
Uttarakhand CM Rawat presented a pitcher of holy Ganga water and a replica of Kedarnath temple to Kovind. He also met BJP leaders at the Chief Minister's residence and stayed in the city for about two hours.
