More than 16.63 crore voters will decide the fate of 1,625 candidates, including 134 women candidates, in 102 constituencies spread across 21 states.
The 8 seats where polling would be held in the first phase include Saharanpur, Bijnor, Kairana, Muzaffarnagar, Nagina, Moradabad, Rampur, and Pilibhit.
