A Himachal Pradesh University professor and a visual artist Dr. Him Chatterjee has created the world’s longest outdoor mural at an integrated transit corridor in Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.

The mural, which has now broken the world record of the longest outdoor mural, has been termed the finest expression of India’s culture. It is the finest expression of India’s culture based on the theme ‘Celebration of Life through six seasons of India’ as described by Prime Minister Narendra Modi ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshta Bharat Ka Ek Uttam Education Centre’.

HP University vice-chancellor Prof Sat Prakash Bansal, on Wednesday, felicitated Dr. Chatterjee for breaking the world record by making the longest outdoor mural in Delhi. He said, “It is a matter of pride that Dr. Chatterjee brought laurels to the university with his creative endeavours. We are proud to have him as an asset for Himachal Pradesh University and congratulate him for the great achievement.”
