BJP leader Anurag Agrawal stated that within a period of mere three months, the Vishnu Deo Sai government has made significant strides in fulfilling its promises, with many already realised under PM Narendra Modi’s guarantee, while others are set to be fulfilled in the near future.

Notable accomplishments include the sanctioning of 18 lakh houses for impoverished families under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, and the disbursal of Rs 655 crore as the first installment to eligible women under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana.

The state government has allocated Rs 13,320 crore to 24.72 lakh farmers under the Krishak Unnati Yojana, coupled with a pending bonus for paddy procurement amounting to Rs 3716 crore. The Sai government has paid Rs 31,914 crore to 24.72 lakh farmers in lieu of procuring 145 lakh metric tonnes of paddy at the support price. Farmers are receiving a support price of Rs 3100 per quintal for paddy, which is the highest in the country, and for up to 21 quintals per acre.

The state government has made several significant decisions, including increasing the collection rate of tendupatta from Rs. 4000 to Rs 5500 per standard bag.

The budget for the financial year 2024–25 is dedicated to the development, prosperity, and well-being of Chhattisgarh.
