The first phase of Padayatra of Bharatiya Janata Party,  being named Praja Sangrama Yatra, has begun on August 28 from Bhagya Laxmi temple located in Hyderabad.

The Yatra concluded on October 2 at Husnabad of Siddipeta district. A roadshow and a public meeting have been organized to commemorate the conclusion of the Praja Sangram Yatra on October 2 at Husnabad. The Padayatra went on for 36 days over 438 kilometers.

The BJP state president has addressed about 35 meetings in the Padayatra through which he has tried to instill confidence in the people who have poured out their woes, he exposed the failures of the state government and explained the funds being given by the Centre to the state. He has met lakhs of people on the way and heard their problems patiently.

He has addressed meetings at Charminar, Golkonda, Are Maisamma, Moinabad, Chevella, Manneguda, Mominpeta, Sadasivapaeta, Sangareddy (two meetings), Jogipet (two meetings), Rangampet, Narsapur (two meetings), Medak (two meetings), Nagireddypeta, Ellareddy (two meetings), Errapadu, Thadwayi, Lingampet, Kamareddy (two meetings), Machareddy Cross Roads, Gambhiraopet, Mustabad, Ankireddypalle, Pedda Lingapur, Illantakunta, Bejjanki, Koheda, Potlapalli and Husnabad.

19 Assembly constituencies, 6 Parliamentary constituencies, 8 districts

In the first phase of his Praja Sangrama Yatra, Bandi Sanjay has covered 19 Assembly constituencies, six Parliamentary constituencies and eight districts. He has travelled through Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, Siricilla, and Siddipeta districts.

As far as Assembly constituencies are concerned, his tour was conducted through Charminar, Goshamahal, Nampalli, Khairatabad, Jubilee Hills, Karwan, Rajendra Nagar, Chevella, Parigi, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Andole, Narspur, Medak, Ellareddy, Kamareddy, Siricilla, Manakondur, and Husnabad. His Padayatra has passed through Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Chevella, Medak, Zaheerabad and Karimnagar Parliamentary constituencies.

11,675 representations

During the Padayatra Bandi Sanjay has met lakhs people and heard their problems. He came to know about the severe resentment among the people towards the Telangana Rasthra Samithi government.

As many as 11,675 representations have been given by farmers, unemployed, employees, women, and workers about the problems. They have urged the BJP state president to put efforts to solve their issues. Sanjay heard their problems and instilled confidence among them. He has exposed the misrule of TRS government.

Two former CMs, 6 Union Ministers and 24 national leaders visited

The BJP national leadership has provided unforgettable support to the Praja Sangrama Yatra of Bandi Sanjay. Two former Chief Ministers, Devendra Phadanavis, Raman Singh, and 6 Union Ministers participated in the Padayatra and supported it. Apart from them four BJP national general secretaries, four national vice presidents, four national morcha presidents, two national secretaries and four MPs have also participated in the Yatra and expressed their solidarity to Sanjay.

In the same way several former union and state ministers, former MPs, former MLAS, state and district leaders have participated in the Padayatra.

Lakhs of people bless Sanjay

From day one onwards the Padayatra has received great response from the people. Lakhs of people have met Sanjay during the Padayatra and explained their problems. Sanjay has promised them that he would stand with them and gave an ear to their woes. Lakhs of people have blessed Sanjay during his 36 days tour.

The women welcomed him with Aartis and with Bonalu wherever he has gone. The enthusiasm being shown by the young men and women was beyond description.

Wails, laments and immeasurable woes

Wherever Sanjay has toured he has found lot of problems in each village and by lane. He came across unemployed people, shelter less destitute persons, farmers who have been facing immeasurable woes, RTC workers who were thrown out of work, education volunteers who have lost their jobs, sanitation staff of the schools, field assistants, staff nurses, ASHA workers who were not paid regularly, ANMs, Home Guards, students who did not get fee reimbursement, Dalits, tribals and backward classes people who were deprived of by the TRS government. They shared their woes with Sanjay all along the way.

Bandi Sanjay was able to bring the dilapidated school and hospital buildings, woes of the ‘Podu Land’ farmers and others to the notice of the world through his Padayatra.

The BJP thanks all the hungry, destitute, victimized and unemployed people who have supported and blessed the first phase of Praja Sangram Yatra and made it a grand success.
