The first phase of the tournament will be played from March 28 to April 12 and will feature 20 matches across 10 venues — Bengaluru, Mumbai, Guwahati, New Chandigarh, Lucknow, Kolkata, Chennai, Delhi, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad.
As per the figures till 6 pm, Ernakulam district recorded the highest voter turnout (73.36 per cent). Alappuzha recorded 72.74 per cent and Idukki 70.26 per cent.
Voters in the rest of the seven districts, including Thirussur, Palakkad, Kozhikode, Malappuram, Kannur, Wayanad and Kasaragod would use their franchise on December 11.
