Kolkata-based Tab Arrange, in collaboration with creative studio The White Theory, is set to introduce a new-age storytelling format crafted exclusively for vertical screens. Designed for mobile-first audiences, the initiative marks a creative shift towards immersive, short-form narrative experiences suited to today’s digital consumption habits.

Their recently launched first vertical story, ‘Mahek’, is rooted in poetic romance. The film explores the enduring presence of love that lingers long after separation — a feeling that survives in memory, emotion and quiet moments.

Directed by Arpan Basak, the film blends cinematic sensibilities with the immediacy of vertical storytelling. The project is creatively helmed by Anurag Mishra, who serves as the Creative Director, shaping the overall vision of this new format.

Sharing their thoughts on the initiative, the makers stated that the objective is to tell stories that feel personal and immersive — narratives that connect instantly and emotionally when viewed on a mobile screen. The vertical format allows audiences to experience stories up close, making them feel present within the moment.
