There are speculations that a spin-off of Byomkesh, a suspense drama, might be out soon. Byomkesh has had many hit series earlier and the director is ready to give another one. A story about a detective Byomkesh Bakshi and the adventures he experiences solving the cases.
Byomkesh being our very own Sherlock is loved by all and people will totally appreciate the sequel. According to TOI reports, “It’s a story about Byomkesh and his grandson, and how the duo solves a murder mystery. The story is not by Sharadindu Bandhopadhay, but penned by the director.”
Abir Chatterjee, who has earlier played Byomkesh, will again feature as the lead and the grandson of Byomkesh too. Sreelekha Mitra, Sohini Sarkar, Sujoy Prasad Chatterjee, Tota Roy Chowdhury will also be a part of the project.
