Jaaved Jaaferi is gearing up for the release of ‘Dhamaal 4’, and ahead of that, he opened up about what keeps him driven as an artist.

Speaking with IANS alongside director Indra Kumar and co-star Arshad Warsi, Jaaferi shared his belief that actors simply cannot afford to stick to just one thing.

He explained his approach using the idea of a spectrum, with slapstick comedy on one end and art or drama on the other. He said that, by the grace of god, he has been fortunate enough to cover the entire range, having done slapstick roles, dramatic parts, and even played a villain over the years.

Why he keeps exploring different forms

Jaaferi expressed genuine gratitude for the range of opportunities he has had throughout his career. He said he does not stop at just one form of expression, adding that voice-over work in particular helps sharpen his craft.

According to him, it does not matter whether the project is a silly comedy, an animated film, or even an advertisement. He said every form helps hone his art, and he never considers any of it less important. For Jaaferi, this variety functions almost like an exercise, and he described it as simply the way he approaches his work.

About ‘Dhamaal 4’

Jaaferi is set to appear in Dhamaal 4, directed by Indra Kumar. The film is produced by Ajay Devgn, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Ashok Thakeria, Indra Kumar, Anand Pandit, and Kumar Mangat Pathak.

The project comes presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series, in association with Devgn Films, a T-Series Films, Maruti International, and Panorama Studios production.

Dhamaal 4 is scheduled to hit theatres on July 10, 2026.
