Delhi University starts second phase of admission for foreign students

The Delhi University (DU) will reopen its application portal for admission between 10 June and 25 June for foreign students seeking admission to various courses in the varsity, said a DU statement on Monday.

During this second phase of admission to various courses in the university, the applicants for undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), M. Phil, PhD, certificate and diploma programmes courses (except MBA programme) will also be able to apply for admission.

“Admission for the second phase will immediately start as the first phase admissions are over, but all will depend upon the availability of seats,” the university said.

According to the DU, the registration process for applying to all the programmes will be done completely online through the foreign students’ registry website.

The entrance exams for the DU’s undergraduate, postgraduate and M. Phil / PhD courses will be held between 30 June and 6 July.

This year, the National Testing Agency will conduct examinations for the UG and PG courses.

The first cut-off list is likely to be released on 20 June, the second list on 25 June and the third list will be released on 29 June. The fourth and fifth lists will be released on 4 July and 9 July respectively.

Till date, over 2.8 lakhs students have submitted applications to the varsity’s admission portal and 175668 have paid registration fees. The university, on Monday, also organised the last open day session which was attended by about 300 students and parents.
