Himachal minister approaches speaker invoking anti-defection law against 3 MLAs
The three MLAs' petition is pending in the high court against the Speaker for not approving their resignation from the State Legislative Assembly.
Shashank Mehta, a resident of Roura Sector in Bilaspur in Himachal Pradesh, has won a cash prize of 2000 US dollars for detecting a bug in the server of social media networking site Facebook.
Shashank had sent the report of bug to the security team of Facebook and his detection has been listed in Hall of Fame at the 15th place.
During the analysis of the security feature of Facebook, Shashank had detected that even after getting blocked on the site for posting objectionable or suspicious activities, the suspect can use their account by bypassing some security features.

Facebook generally blocks a user for posting objectionable content or indulging in suspicious activities and the account is reactivated only after the user proves their identity.
But Shashank noticed that such a user can still use the account and even post content or access pictures or other content without even the company noticing it.
The Facebook team, upon his perusal, admitted that it was a security failure and corrected the same on March 27.
“This (bug) could have allowed a user to bypass security checkpoint and gain access to the account when he should not be able to,” Facebook in its reply to Shashank said.
The detection has been added to the Hall of Fame of Facebook at 15th place and Shashank was awarded a cash prize of around Rs 1.30 lakh.
In 2018 too, he had pointed a lapse in the security features of Facebook for which he was awarded a cash prize of 500 US dollars.
