CCEA approves six multi-tracking projects of Indian Railways
The multi-tracking proposals will ease operations and reduce congestion, providing the much-required infrastructural development on the busiest sections across Indian Railways.

The cabinet committee of economic affairs (CCEA) chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the equity investments of the Rs 13,052.81 crores joint venture between CIL and GAIL of Coal to Synth etic Gas (SNG) Project in Sonebazari Bazari Coal Mines area of Eastern Coalfie lds Limited (ECL) on Wednesday.
The CCEA has approved two projects on the day, CIL for setting up of Coal-toSNG (Synthetic Natural Gas) Project at ECL command area through a JV of CIL & GAIL; and for setting up of Coal-to-Ammonium Nitrate Project at MCL command area through a JV of CIL & BHEL.
