Odisha scripting golden history in the field of sports

The state government has substantially increased its funding for sports. The state had allocated nearly Rs 100 crore in its annual budget for 2016/17, which was increased to Rs 301 crore in 2020/21. This year (2021/22), Rs 400 crore has been allocated to sports.
