Dua Lipa and Callum Turner are married: Their complete relationship timeline
She said she never dreamt about weddings. He said the signs were loud. Somewhere between a London dinner and a Sicilian celebration, they found each other.
Dua Lipa married actor Callum Turner on Sunday in London. The couple opted for a small ceremony at the Old Marylebone Town Hall.
The couple tied the knot in the afternoon with only handful of close friends and family in attendance. Photos published online show the newlyweds smiling as they walked down the town hall’s steps with family members on either side. They were celebrated by eight of their loved ones, who threw confetti their way before the couple slipped into a black vehicle.

The choice of venue was no coincidence. With their discreet ceremony, Dua Lipa and Callum Turner followed in the footsteps of their close friend Charli XCX, who last year opted for a quick civil ceremony at a London town hall before heading abroad for a larger celebration.

What they wore
Dua wore a fitted white skirt and blazer set paired with a wide-brimmed hat and gloves. She finished the look with Louboutin pumps and a bouquet of yellow flowers.
Photos from The Sun show Dua in a custom Schiaparelli haute couture ensemble. Lipa has regularly worn Schiaparelli designs, including a stunning bridal white plumed gown at the fashion house’s Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2025/2026 show in July 2025.
Beside her, Callum Turner radiated happiness in a dark navy double-breasted suit with a coordinating shirt and tie.
The Sicily celebrations
The London town hall ceremony was only the beginning.
The Sun reports the couple has a three-day wedding extravaganza planned in Sicily, Italy this week. The lavish three-day event in Palermo, Italy is expected to feature an extensive celebrity guest list and a possible performance by Elton John.
A source told the outlet that the couple has rented out multiple large venues for the multi-event celebration. Simon Porte Jacquemus will allegedly design at least one of the dresses for the Italian festivities.
How it all started
Lipa and Turner have been romantically linked since early 2024. They sparked relationship rumors after they were seen together at an afterparty for Turner’s show “Masters of the Air” in January of that year.
In the British Vogue interview, Lipa revealed she first met the actor when she was out having dinner with her dad in London, where Turner was out with friends, and the restaurant’s cofounder introduced them. A year later, Lipa said they ran into each other again at dinner and both happened to be reading the same book, Hernán Diaz’s “Trust.”
Lipa went Instagram official with Turner in July, and they made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2025 Met Gala in May.
The engagement
Months after posting photos of what appeared to be an engagement ring, Dua Lipa confirmed her engagement to actor Callum Turner. “Yeah, we’re engaged,” Lipa said in an interview with British Vogue published on June 12. “It’s very exciting.”
Lipa said Turner had the ring made after discussions with her sister and best friends. “I’m obsessed with it,” Lipa said. “It’s so me. It’s nice to know the person that you’re going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well.”
At the end of 2024, Lipa posted photos on Instagram that sparked speculation from fans that she was engaged. She appeared to be sporting an engagement ring. Over the following months, the ring appeared in more social media posts, as well as on the Met Gala red carpet, where she and Turner walked together.
What they said about marriage
Despite their engagement, Lipa told British Vogue they had not yet started wedding planning. “I want to finish my tour, Callum’s shooting, so we’re just enjoying this period,” she said. “I’ve never been someone who’s really thought about a wedding, or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be.”
Turner, in an interview with The Sunday Times in October 2025, gave his own definition of true love. “I think true love is moments, consistency. It can’t be just one grand, sweeping thing. It’s all the little things and big things together.”
