A total of seven water ATMs have been set up in the three wards to cater to local residents. The government said the move is aimed at ensuring reliable access to potable water for households in the area.

Each water ATM is designed to dispense 2,000 litres of purified water per hour. The units use a five-stage RO purification system capable of handling up to 3000 TDS levels, and are equipped with 24×7 monitoring systems.

Residents will be able to access up to 20 litres of drinking water per person per day through dedicated water ATM cards, according to the Chief Minister.
